Stray Theories: Veil

Fauna is an exciting new project from n5MD, a compilation curated by Ocoeur, and dedicated to a great cause. Set to release on December 10th in honor of International Animal Rights Day, the release will donate all proceeds to the French non-profit association L214, which advocates for animal rights.

Veil, the first track unveiled from the album, comes from New Zealand ambient artist Stray Theories. It’s a stirring and uplifting piece which blends emotive tones into expansive soundscapes, evoking personal reflection and a sense of vastness.

With its serene and atmospheric qualities, Veil creates a tranquil yet immersive ambiance, embodying the signature beauty and depth for which Stray Theories is known.

More on Fauna: "In today’s world, society is increasingly driven by deep-seated greed and a relentless pursuit of pleasure. Humanity constantly searches for satisfaction, yet we are rarely content. This lack of fulfillment leads to a cycle of endless production and consumption, causing harm not only to other living beings but also to ourselves as we exploit and degrade our precious environment. Throughout history, humans have often viewed animals as soulless and fundamentally different from us. However, animals have the same right to live without discrimination or exploitation. Fauna, a compilation curated by Franck Zaragoza (aka Ocoeur), reminds us that all species on Earth have the right to live and that we all share the same world. More importantly, it emphasizes that our future depends on our actions and the choices we make today."
