Virgins: g l i s s

Virgins return with the release of their standalone track g l i s s, a song which bridges the band’s earlier sound, as heard on their earlier EP, with the evolved shoegaze and dreampop style showcased in their generally acclaimed album, nothing hurt and everything was beautiful.

As they explain: “g l i s s was the first track written after the EP, so it acts as the bridge between what came before and what would then turn into the album.

Previously available only as part of the vinyl pre-order for the album, g l i s s is a solid dreampop track which highlights the band's characteristic heavy, fuzzy guitar layers and dreamlike vocals, all of which have become essential elements of their distinctive sound.
