Portland, OR-based doom pop band NIGHTSISTER is back with their poignant new single, Next in Line, a taste of what’s to come from their impending debut album, Part of Me.
Directed by Noah Humphrey and Dylan Sweet, the accompanying music video complements the track’s beautiful darkness, offering a taste of NIGHTSISTER members’ journey from extreme metal roots to their distinctive post punk sound. Channeling the directness and expressiveness of the genre's formative past, the band creates a sound which is as atmospheric as it is uncompromisingly bleak.
Next in Line digs deep into themes of existential frustration, voicing the feeling of being replaceable and unseen in a world which seems indifferent. The track is both introspective and intense, defining NIGHTSISTER as a band that embraces the shadows.
