Mercy Ties: Love All the People

Mercy Ties makes a solid return with their first new music in a decade, announcing the anticipated release of their new album, Reflections and Criticisms, set for release on March 28th, 2025, via The Ghost Is Clear Records.

Vocalist Andre Sanabria, who is also the frontman for Neurot Recordings act Ex Everything, comments on the new album's first single, Love All the People: "During a lengthy anhedonic period I wrote 'Love All the People' as a conversation to myself. The big sad passed and the words remained in a book, expunged and forgotten. The first time I listened to what would become 'Love All The People,' those same words came back to me. I opened up the notebook and everything lined up, predetermined. The lyrics themselves are self explanatory: we're all on borrowed time, so enjoy it while you can."

Formed in Seattle and now spanning across multiple states and continents, Mercy Ties delivers hardcore punk at its fiercest. Before their hiatus, the band toured extensively alongside the great French outfit Birds In Row. With their return, Mercy Ties brings a potent and gripping blend of intense hardcore, infused with elements of sludge and a deep, brooding darkness which permeates their sound.
