Palehorse/Palerider: Division

The kind of doomgaze which Palehorse/Palerider have to offer is incredibly heavy and encapsulates a sense of nostalgic gloominess. The band's sound is consistently atmospheric and eerily serene.

At eight and a half minutes, Palehorse/Palerider's wonderful, expansive song Division aptly represents their ability to combine delicateness with a sense of overarching heaviness.

The song is featured on WAVES I, an exceptionally good EP which reveals the band's continued artistic development and sound refinement. An already impressive collection is further enhanced by the inclusion of a poignant, well made cover of Heaven or Las Vegas originally by the Cocteau Twins.
