French avant-garde band Bank Myna reveal Burn All The Edges, the first offering from their upcoming album EIMURIA which comes out in April 2025.
Paul Nizan’s music video which comes with the song, abandons convention for abstraction, and is inspired by Stan Brakhage’s avant-garde cinema. The clip distorts and dissolves with flickering images, heavy textures, light bleeding through fractures, and ultimately becomes a visual echo of the track’s heaviness and intensity.
Structured in three acts, the song unfolds through shifting passages, producing a sonic journey which immerses in its dense, layered sound. It explores themes of inner rebellion, building tension until it finally erupts, breaking outward in full force.
In nine gripping minutes, Bank Myna’s latest work showcases a band which never ceases to push the boundaries of heavy experimental music, embracing its most artful and exploratory side.
