After a promising demo that showcased the band's dark intentions and strong early presence in the heavy music scene, Rochester, New York's Goat Farm unveils their debut EP, Nature Takes Its Course.
The release features the band's first single, Old Curse, alongside two fresh tracks; the title track and Lucy. The EP's eponymous opener is a doom rock powerhouse, steeped in a sinister atmosphere which defines the band's mighty, slow-burning sound. Evoking haunting imagery, the song carries an eerie tone, unfolding like a Sabbathesque ritual.
Next comes Lucy, a track which highlights intricate guitar work and expressive vocals. Drifting through waves of emotional depth, it reveals a dreamier, almost sensual side of the band's sound in an effortless and engaging way.
