Pleasure Victim: Gemma

Pleasure Victim are reviving the dark pulse of industrialized synthpop with their new single, Gemma. The alternative / post punk band takes a shadowy approach to their sound, blending grit with raw energy. Their name, borrowed from Berlin's 1982 album, nods to their deep-rooted connection with the darker, more atmospheric side of the genre.

On their latest release, Gemma, Pleasure Victim channels the underground spirit of the iconic Wax Trax! label, delivering a searing industrial-infused post punk offering built for the dancefloor.

Gemma pulsates with an urgent vitality, balancing haunting melodicism with propulsive rhythms, giving way to a moody yet electrifying sound palette which lingers between the shadiness of Virgin Prunes and the cutting-edge danceability of My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult.
